The mobile data market is saturated?
False.
We are at the beginning.

Market Strategy

The picture was taken from the Ericsson mobility report as of June 2018. Ericsson is one of the three biggest providers for mobile network equipment worldwide. Their report on developments in the mobile market appears twice a year. The grafic is striking, It shows unlimited exponential increase of mobile data traffic for recent years and the foreseeable future. When there is data, a database is behind. Sure, you can try to deliver this amount with the current generation of databases. But what about the price of the equipment they are running on? Something more efficient is needed.

We have a clear focus on DVTDS, our cutting edge database server product. It's market relevance is based on the wide range of possible applications and the features that make it a natural choice in these environments:

  • Subscriber data management in mobile core systems where the upcoming 5G networks require extreme low response times and high throughput.

  • Network function virtualization (NFV) in telco networks where user session data and state data of virtualized network functions (VNF) need be kept consistent in a central database at dozens of millions updates per second.

  • Real time capability for large collections of users. A perfect example are mobile online games that require to store ever changing geo locations of persons in a central database. Traffic jam prediction falls also into this category.

  • Online voting systems and internet bookmakers. This is the same highspeed update case as above except that the stored data has nothing to do with location tracking. But the principle is the same: Dozens or even hundreds of million people produce information that affects all of them in real time, thus must be stored in a central place.

  • Authentication in large social media networks requires a high volume read traffic against regional servers while provisioning processes (account creation / change / removal) must ensure consistency across worldwide distributed replica.

  • Space applications where weight and reliabilty are crucial.

Many databases on the market lack the speed to meet real time requirements, do not support ACID transactions, have no flexible redundancy or no data model virtualization or no flexible hybrid in memory / on disk storage or no triggers or whatever. DVTDS has it all.
Our strategy follows a simple path: Once DVTDS is gaining market acceptance, it will become the most powerful object database on the planet and also be years ahead of leading NoSQL databases. It proves useful for many high speed applications in the telco and social media market, as well as in scientific environments. We will raise venture capital to finance our growth. Independent from this we will get into partnerships with already established vendors that need to incorporate a future proof database solution into their portfolio.
